Who is sent to my house to do the work?
Our company technicians arrive at your home or business ON TIME, AND READY TO WORK.
Our company technicians are HELPFUL HUBBY employees and our insured.
From time to time we may use a professional subcontractors for skill sets with services we do NOT provide with our company technicians.
We hold current certificates of Insurance on all our subcontractors.
Our professional subcontractors are Licensed (If required for a project) and carry complete insurances.
We maintain and follow local and state requirements for all our projects.
We notify all our clients so they know who will be arriving at your home or place of business to complete the project requested.
Our attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and punctuality make us a reliable company that you can depend on every time.
Will I need to have the materials in order for the HELPFUL HUBBY to do the job?
We stock many common items which mean fewer trips to the supply store during our visits. If there are any materials needed for your job, you have several options:
Purchase these materials ahead of time, saving money associated with material handling/pick-up costs.
Do the shopping for any materials not on hand while our technician is working at your home/business.
Follow the technician to the store to pay directly for the materials giving you the advantage of the technician’s professional expertise and the use of the vehicle to transport those materials.
Have the HELPFUL HUBBY pick up the materials for you. However, please know that if the technician gets your supplies, he or she is “on the clock” and this time is billed at our regular rate.
What type of warranty or satisfaction guarantee do you offer?
Your satisfaction is our guarantee. You can trust the HELPFUL HUBBY experienced, insured, technicians to repair and maintain your home or business. The HELPFUL HUBBY has one priority and that is that the service we provide is prompt, polite and professional.
Are your technicians insured?
Yes, all Helpful Hubby technicians insured. At the Helpful Hubby, our technicians are company employees and are covered under general liability and workers' compensation insurance. As stated in the “Who is sent to my house to do the work” paragraph any professional subcontractor we use to complete services that the HELPFUL HUBBY does not perform has the necessary business insurance for your project.
Why is it important that a person who is providing service in my home or business be insured?
If the technician(s) gets injured during the job they are covered under workers compensation. There will be no need to make a claim on your home owner’s insurance policy.
How do you charge?
At the HELPFUL HUBBY, we can charge by Time & Materials for your project at your home or place of business or should you chose we can create a contract amount for your project.
Can I get an estimate for my job?
We at the HELPFUL HUBBY can appreciate your desire for an estimate. We have found that in the time it takes to gather multiple quotes the HELPFUL HUBBY can have the job completed. When the Helpful Hubby technician arrives at your home or business he or she will review the job with you to confirm the length of time needed to estimate the complete project and get your project scheduled.
How do I pay?
In most cases, at the end of the job, we will send a final Invoice by e-mail and/ or regular mail for services that were completed at your home or place of business.
